  3. You need at least 120 minutes (2 hours) total before you can print.

  5. Once you hit 2 hours, click Print / PDF to generate your submission sheet.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you enter is saved only in this browser on this device — nothing is sent anywhere. Think of it like a notes app that lives inside your browser tab.

⚠️ Important — backing up your data

Your data can be lost if you:

  • Clear your browser's history, cookies, or site data
  • Use a different browser (Chrome ≠ Safari ≠ Firefox)
  • Switch to a different device

To protect your data, click Export JSON in the toolbar regularly. It downloads a backup file to your device. If anything ever gets wiped, click Import JSON to restore everything instantly.

💡 Tip — export a backup after every week of logging. Store it in your Notes app, iCloud, Google Drive, or anywhere safe.

Your PIN

Your 4-digit PIN is a soft lock for this device. It's hashed (SHA-256 + a random salt) so it isn't stored as plain text, but your journal data itself is saved unencrypted in this browser — anyone with access to this device's developer tools can read it. Don't store anything sensitive here.
